What We Do?
Promoting a sustainable development for communities in arid and semi-arid lands in the horn of Africa
NORDA is focused on improving food security and promoting sustainable agriculture in the Horn of Africa.Through agricultural extension services, sustainable livestock management practices, and food security programs, NORDA works to help communities overcome the challenges of a harsh climate and build resilience in the face of crises. In addition, NORDA advocates for policies and programs that support sustainable agriculture and food security in the region.
We provide proactive and reactive timely response to emergencies by constantly engaging and coordinating with relevant stakeholders (Local Authority and Community Leaders)
We invest in local solutions to the local water crisis in sub-Saharan Africa. We provide clean water. In order to help the communities we have created a group of farmers who donate agricultural product to food banks.
